Certification
Certified Diamonds are diamonds that have been graded by a reputable third-party laboratory. They're graded based on their “4 C” attributes. These attributes include cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight. To ensure that you are getting a high-quality stone, it’s always recommended to buy certified diamonds. At JC Jewels we have an extensive inventory of diamonds, generally, we use IGI and GCAL as our preferred laboratories.
All certificates mention if the diamond is Lab-Grown, this is in line with our strict policy on transparency and knowing what you buy. All JC Jewels diamonds above 0.30ct are laser inscribed with “Lab Grown” on the girdle.
GCAL Certificate
A GCAL Certificate of Authenticity is issued by the Gem Certification & Assurance Lab. A GCAL certified diamond may sometimes be more expensive. This is due to the fact that GCAL certificates are actually a certificate, most diamonds only come with a gem report, (yes even the GIA is more accurately referred to as a report)
What is the difference?
• A true certificate is a guarantee of the grading.
• GCAL is an accredited forensic laboratory, with gem print fingerprint positive identification, direct assessment light performance and up to 9 images.
• There are only two labs in the Americas and only four in the world like this, Tiffany and Co is one of the four
IGI Certification

The company also has offices in several diamond centers around the world such as New York, New Delhi, Surat, Hong Kong, Dubai, Shanghai, Tel Aviv, and among others.
With over 650 gemologists and other jewellery professionals, IGI has been increasingly trying to position itself as a reliable diamond grading laboratory in order to establish a name for itself in the industry.
Sarine Certification
